What should I do if I receive a ‘registration failed’ or ‘turn on device notifications settings’ message?

The VicEmergency app requires the device to connect and register for push notifications.

If your device can’t do this, it will display a ‘registration failed’ message.

You need to ensure that notifications are enabled for the VicEmergency app:

1. Open your device’s Settings app
2. Select Applications
3. Select Manage Applications
4. Choose VicEmergency from the list
5. Ensure ‘Show Notifications’ is ticked

For some devices, you may also need to delete the app, reinstall it and then restart your device.
